Editorial note
California launch update
PokerMeet is opening reviewed public regions with host-led growth. Here's how discovery, safety, and invitations work.

PokerMeet is available for private-home coordination where safety and local rules allow. Public discovery opens through reviewed regions instead of blanket statewide activation.
Hosts still control every seat. Players request a seat, hosts approve or decline, and exact addresses go only to approved players before game time.
What this means for hosts
- You control who attends and when address details are released.
- You can decline requests that feel off with no penalty.
- Panic hide remains available to remove visibility quickly if needed.
Verification and safety
- Phone verification is standard for access.
- ID checks are optional for hosts who want extra trust.
- Public address sharing remains blocked; players see the general area first, and exact arrival details stay limited to approved players.
What happens next
We are prioritizing counties with active hosts and reliable demand. If you want your area to move faster, apply as a host, follow county updates, and invite trusted friends in your county.
Questions? Support is available 09:00-21:00 PT at support@pokermeet.org (no addresses in email).
